The long version
Half Irish, half Spanish, all over the place.
The Costa Brava gave me my dad, the accent, and an unreasonable attachment to long lunches. Dublin gave me my mam, the summers in the rain, and the ability to enjoy them anyway. The van was my idea. The dog was inevitable.

The story so far
I grew up on the Costa Brava, north of Barcelona, with a Spanish dad who taught me to swim before I could argue and an Irish mam who never once trusted the sea. Every summer we drove the whole way to Dublin, France in a day, then the ferry, then the cousins and the rain, and every September I came home with chips on my breath and half a Dublin accent, which wore off by October. The soft spot for both coasts never did.
The van came later. She's the love of my life, and I won't be taking questions about what she cost. I will say the subscriptions are helping pay her off, so if you're already inside: she knows, and she's grateful. The roof pops, the kitchen works, the bed faces whichever sea I've parked at, and Chorizo, a sausage dog from a rescue outside Girona with strong opinions about seagulls, handles security. Loosely.
Most of the year we drift around Europe: the Spanish coast, the slow bits of France, wherever the weather points. Once in a while we do the long haul back to Ireland, ferry and all, so the van can see where the other half of me comes from. I swim, I lift things in small-town gyms, I bake when we're parked level enough, and I photograph nearly all of it.
And the part you're too polite to ask about: I've always been the expressive one — comfortable in my own skin, a bit of a show-off, no apologies for either. I love the chat, I love the company, and I love making things for the people who come a little closer than a public grid. If that's your kind of company, come in and say hello.

Quick answers
Is she real?
She's real. Think of her the way you'd think of a favourite character from anything else, except this one writes back, remembers you, and shares plenty more with the people who come closer. The formal version lives on the house rules page.
Where does the trip actually go?
The route is real geography: the Costa Brava and the Spanish coast for most of the year, the slow bits of France, and the odd long run home to Ireland. Where the van is "today" moves with the content.
What lives where?
Instagram gets the postcards. The closer side — the wall, the Friday sets, and the chat — lives a click away. This site is just the front door.
Can I ask for something?
You can ask for anything, politely, in the chat. Some things are a yes, some are a no with a laugh, and either way you get an answer. Requests that break the rules of the platform, or ours, don't happen.
Who runs this?
A small independent team. Business and takedown matters go to the address on the legal page; Anna's own inbox is for Anna things.
